    Shooting Investigation Ongoing in Lowell

    A female victim was shot in the back, officials said. They are still looking for the suspect. (Published Sunday, March 31, 2019)

    Authorities are looking for a suspect in a shooting in Lowell.

    According to police, they responded to the area of Broadway and Cork streets for reports of shots fired just after 2 p.m. on Sunday.

    Upon arrival, officers found a female who was shot twice in the back on Cork Street.

    The victim was transported to a Boston hospital, police said. Her exact condition is not known at this time.
