Want to Take a Wild Water Slide Ride Through Boston?

A company based out of Utah wants to bring a 1,000-foot water slide to Beantown

Pending approval by the city, a 1,000-foot water slide will be set up this summer at a yet-to-be determined site in Boston, Massachusetts.

According to the Boston Herald, nearly 4,000 people have already signed up for a ride.

The slide is almost three times the length of a football field.

Holyoke is already scheduled for August 22, Stamford, Conn. is set for July 26, and Portland, Maine is set for Aug. 1. Other locations in New Hampshire and Vermont are also looking for dates, according to Boston Magazine.

Springbox Group usually charges between $15 and $60 for a ticket, depending on how a person registers for the Slide the City event.
