Eat:
Publico was named Best Neighborhood Restaurant by Boston Magazine! Publico is one of the prettiest spots in the Southie with its atrium garden. Share some snacks like empanadas, tacos, and ceviche or larger plates like steak frites and fish tacos!

Drink:
Raise your glass! Row 34 in Fort Point won for Best Beer Program! Order up a lobster roll (they also won Best Seafood by the Improper) and a draft of Bissell Brothers, Dieu du Ciel, or Upland Brewing to name a few of their unique brews!

Brunch:
Lincoln – home of the Test Brunch – has won Best Brunch in Boston by Boston Magazine! Enjoy boozy milk shakes, fruity pebbles pancakes, breakfast pizza, Lincoln sliders and more!

Shop:
Hunt and gather! Vintage lovers rejoice! Southie has a Best of Boston winner in the vintage store category!  Recollective is a multi-dealer vintage shop featuring men, women and home items located at 416 West Broadway (entrance on F Street). Recollective is open Wednesday-Sunday 12pm-7pm. Check it out!

See:
A Processional For Beacon will take place on Sunday, July 1st at 9:30am at Castle Island. Gather in the parking lot and watch as an Avian Avatar by Myth Makers Donna Dodson and Andy Moerlein roll a monumental bamboo sculpture down the causeway to the Sugar Bowl! This event is part of the Harbor Walk Artist in Residence program! (Castle Island was named Best Neighborhood Excursion)

Do:
Coppersmith is hosting a block party on Sunday, July 1st from 12pm-5pm. Enjoy food, drinks, games, DJ Stu and more! (CIS winner of Best View).

Watch:
“You’re gonna need a bigger boat.” Narraganset Beer – Quint’s choice of beer – is hosting a special showing of the classic movie Jaws on Friday, June 29th at the Lawn on D. Gates open at 5pm. Movie begins at 8:30pm. A DJ will be spinning from 5pm-8pm. Don’t forget your beach chair or blanket! (Best Place to Feel Like a Kid by the Improper)

Dance:
Kick it old school Southie-style at Seapoint. Revisit the good old days and enjoy Southie DJ legend Dru Errico as he spins the tunes at Seapoint Saturday night beginning at 8pm. Plan on dancing the night away to such local favorites like Happy Radio and Young Hearts Run Free!No cover charge. Plenty of parking! (CIS Winner Best Potato Skins)

Workout:
From yoga to boxing, Southie has some of the best workouts in the city. The Handle Bar, Peter Welch’s, East Side Yoga and Fitness, and Everybody Fight, all won the title!

Celebrate:
Celebrate Harborfest!  From June 28th thru July 4th, enjoy family fun events like boat tours, scavenger hunts, walking tours,  food, fun and more.  Over 200 events are happening in the city and on the harbor.  Check out event updates on the Harborfest Facebook Page, on Twitter, or follow the conversation using #BostonHarborfest.  Make sure to check out Chowderfest on Sunday, July 1st where you can sample some of the best clam chowder in Boston and vote for your favorite! Dog Pick:
WOOFstock 2018 is back on Saturday, June 30th from 12pm-6pm! Bring your family, friends and most importantly man’s best friend to Harvard Athletic Complex for a dog-friendly afternoon, featuring live music, photo booths and dog-inspired cocktails, such as the Arnold Pomeranian, The Moscow Drool and The Greyhound. Food trucks will be onsite, bands playing all day long, performances from Canines in the Clouds, dog stunt shows, Lure Coursing, and local vendors with the trendiest items for your four-legged friends. Also, there will be adorable adoptable dogs on site from Last Hope K9, an organization dedicated to saving abandoned, neglected, and/or abused dogs from high-kill shelters throughout the United States. WOOFstock is presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the Vodka For Dog People and is committed to bettering the lives of pets and families far and wide. Tickets are just $5, with all bar proceeds benefiting Last Hope K9 Rescue. Parking is $10 per vehicle, with premier parking spaces available for purchase.
