See:
This Saturday at the Second Annual Blue Hills Great Estate Fall Foliage Weekend at Eustis Estate in Milton there will a special local guest. The Choco-leles, a group of ukulele players based in Historic Lower Mills, will lead ukulele groups all over the Northeast to serenade guests touring the latest addition to the Blue Hills Reservation. Make a plan to go and check them out!

Do:
Smashing pumpkins! Head to the Mattapan Evocation Center with your Halloween pumpkins on Saturday, November 3rd for a Pumpkin Smash Bash! You can smash your pumpkins and compost the remains! Great way to release stress too! There will be snacks and coffee provided. This event takes place at Park at Boston Nature Center at 500 Walk Hill Street.

Lower Mills Tavern has live music every Saturday night beginning at 10:30pm. No cover and a late night menu is available!

Participate:
Its’t eh Annual Dorchester Storywalk & Author Visit! On Saturday, November 3rd the fun starts at the Fields Corner Public Library at 12pm with actives and snacks! At 12:45pm the storywalk begins then at 1:20pm the author visits featuring featuring The Great Thanksgiving Food Fight author Michael Lewis!

Celebrate:
Yellow Door is celebrating “Dia de los Muertos”on Friday with another epic fiesta at the Taqueria. On this holiday, it is believed that the spirits of the dead visit their families to celebrate life and death so in honor of remembering those who have departed, please feel welcome to bring photos to add to our altar we are building behind the bar! Not only will we be celebrating with music, good company, and themed decor! They are also creating specialty cocktails for the night! Stop by!

After suffering some major vandalism last week, the Dorchester Vietnam Memorial Committee has organized a fundraising effort to help with damages that include 20 shredded shrubs, the memorial statue defaced, and the flag of the United States cut down.You can help by making a donation here! Anyone with information about the vandalism is encouraged to reach out to the State Police at 617-740-7710.
