Wegmans Food Markets has announced when it will officially open its sixth store in Massachusetts.
The family owned supermarket is set to open April 29 at its new Natick Mall location.
The 146,500-square foot space is located where JC Penny used to reside.
The supermarket will take up both floors and include more than 100 seats for in-store café dining and two restaurant concepts: Blue Dalia Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar and The Burger Bar.

"Our new Natick Wegmans is completely unique, with an environment different from any store we’ve opened before. It will be the first Wegmans in Massachusetts to include a full-service restaurant, and our first multi-level store within a mall," said store manager Rich Boscia.
The store will employ 325 part-time and 225 full-time employees and has already began to hire.
"There are a wide variety of positions available, with plenty of opportunity for career growth and development," said Boscia. "Wegmans has a long-standing reputation as an exceptional employer, offering flexible scheduling, industry-leading benefits, and an employee scholarship program available to both full- and part-time employees."
"On-the-spot interviews" are being conducted every Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Wegmans’ Framingham employment office at 10 Speen St., suite 201. An additional Wegmans employment office is open daily in the Natick Mall.
In addition to Natick, Wegmans has Massachusetts locations in Medford, Burlington, Chestnut Hill, Northborough and Westwood.
