Will Tom Brady Ever Retire? Gisele Admits She's Failed in Swaying Him

If Gisele Bundchen had her way, Tom Brady wouldn't be preparing to play the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend.

Bundchen has expressed her concern in the past for her husband's safety on the football field, and she reiterated that stance Wednesday during an appearance on "The 'Ellen' Show."

"I definitely wouldn't want to have his job, that's for sure," Bundchen said of the New England Patriots quarterback. "I think it's definitely something that you get concerned (about).

"But he loves it so much, and you've got to let him do what he loves."

A report from January revealed the Brazilian supermodel tried to convince the then-40-year-old Brady to retire from football. Bundchen suggested Wednesday she's given up on trying to sway him, though.

"I think you should talk with him about that," Bundchen said when host Ellen DeGeneres jokingly asked her to convince Brady to retire because she's a New Orleans Saints fan.

"I haven't been very successful. I want him to do whatever makes him happy, but maybe if you have a conversation with him - explain that you love the Saints."

Brady appears intent on playing until he's 45, though, and it sounds like even his wife's concerns won't stop him.
