    Delays on MBTA Following Massive Nor'easter

    Morning commuters faced long delays after snow made travel very diffucult on MBTA lines.

    An MBTA commuter rail train derailed in Wilmington, Massachusetts, Thursday morning as a nor'easter wallops the region with snow and winds.

    Officials with Keolis Commuter Services said the train on the Lowell line experienced a low-speed derailment at a switch point at about 6:30 a.m.

    The train was traveling inbound with just over 100 passengers onboard.

    Authorities said there were no reported injuries.

    No injuries were reported after a commuter rail train derailed in Wilmington, Massachusetts, on Thursday morning.

    The derailment happened on Main Street.

    Service was expected to be impacted on the line throughout the morning. Buses were being brought in to transfer passengers on the train.

    Passengers who plan to travel on the later in the were being asked to go to Anderson-Woburn station for train service.
