”478 Mass. Ave.” Plans to Open in Arlington Center

A new dining spot is planning to open in Arlington, taking over the space where a sandwich shop and pizzeria had been.

According to a Facebook post within the Support Arlington Center group, a restaurant tentatively called "478 Mass. Ave." is looking to open in the former Elton's Roast Beef & Pizza space in Arlington Center, with the poster calling it "the biggest little restaurant in America" and stating that it will have breakfast sandwiches on weekdays, "crazy breakfasts" on weekend mornings, and lunch/dinner options such as soups, chowders, burgers, steak dishes, lobster rolls, and baked stuffed lobsters. A common victualler license page that links to reference material for the proposed eatery also shows that its menu includes sandwiches and subs along with some Korean options such as shabu shabu, bulgogi, japchae, and kimchi.

The Facebook post indicates that if all goes as planned, the new spot taking over the Elton's space could be opening by the end of October.
