A "gastro gaming pub" is on its way to a space that had been home to a short-lived French restaurant.
According to a post within the Arlington List Facebook group page, Adventure Pub is planning to open on Mass. Ave. in East Arlington this fall where Bistro Duet had been. The Facebook page for the proposed spot mentions that it will offer a seasonal menu along with beer, wine, and cocktails, while also having a library of tabletop games and events featuring "larger group Immersive Game and Storytelling experiences...that blur the line between Interactive Theatre, Escape Rooms and Live Action Role Play." The Executive Chef at Adventure Pub will be Jason Smith, who comes from such places as B3 in Boston, Parsnip in Cambridge, La Brasa in Somerville, and the now-closed Tastings Wine Bar and Bistro in Foxboro.
In-depth news coverage of the Greater Boston Area.
Bistro Duet first opened around the beginning of 2017, moving into the space where Flora had been for 20 years; the French dining spot closed this past January after less than a year in business.
The address for the upcoming Adventure Pub is 190 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA, 02474.
