Annie May's Sweet Cafe to Open Location in Newtonville

A bakery in Kentucky that focuses on goods made without common allergens will be expanding to New England, with a location on its way to the western suburbs of Boston.

According to a post within the jobs section of bostonchefs.com, Annie May's Sweet Cafe is opening a shop in the Newtonville section of Newton, with the post saying that the Madison Avenue outlet will be "their first New England location." The business, which is based on Louisville, KY (which is also home to its only shop), features items made in a facility that is allergen-free from a number of items, including peanuts, milk, eggs, gluten, shellfish, wheat, sesame, tree nuts (other than coconut), and soy.

An opening date has not yet been given for the Newtonville location of Annie May's Sweet Cafe, with the job post simply saying that it will debut sometime this fall.

The address for this upcoming bakery in Newtonville is: Annie May's Sweet Cafe, 108 Madison Ave, Newtonville, MA 02460. The website for the business can be found at https://www.anniemayssweetcafe.com
