Sanders, Warren Among 2020 Hopefuls to Speak at CNN Town Hall

Monday will mark the first night five top 2020 presidential hopefuls will be on stage together

Presidential hopefuls and New England senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders will be among five major candidates speaking at a CNN Town Hall event in New Hampshire.

Warren and Sanders will join Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, California Sen. Kamala Harris and South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg on Monday at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire for the series of town halls.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. and end at midnight, with each candidate getting an hour apiece. This marks the first time the five candidates will appear together since they announced their presidential bids.

Warren announced her run for the White House on Feb. 9 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The 69-year-old senator aims to fight economic inequality and eliminate student loan debt for 42 million Americans.

Sanders, who ran for president in 2016 and lost the Democratic bid to Hillary Clinton, touts universal health care and an increase to the minimum wage in his list of priorities. The 77-year-old Independent announced in mid-February his intention to run for office again.
