A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by car in Medford, Massachusetts early Monday morning.
The incident occurred shortly around 4:45a.m. on Route 16 in Wellington Circle.
The bicyclist, described by police as a 48-year-old man from Somerville, was taken to the hospital.
According to State Police, the driver, a 50-year-old man from Stoneham, stayed at the scene and has been interviewed by troopers.
Police say an investigation is underway to determine if charges are warranted.
