Five People Displaced in Roslindale House Fire

Five people have been displaced following a fire that broke out at a home in the Boston neighborhood of Roslindale Saturday afternoon.

Companies responded to the home on Cliffmont Street shortly before 4p.m. when an off-duty Boston firefighter called in the fire.

The second alarm was struck for severe conditions on the second floor, according to fire authorities.

Five people were inside of the home when the fire broke out, but they were able to escape without injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
