Boston Police are investigating Monday after someone was shot in the city's Mattapan neighborhood.
The victim was shot in the Malta Street area. Police were called to the scene shortly after 5 p.m.
Police said the victim was taken to a hospital in the area. The nature and extent of that person's injuries are unclear.
Authorities are investigating.
