Boston Police Investigating 3 Officers for Alleged Payroll Abuse

The Boston Police Department has named three officers under investigation for alleged payroll abuse.

The department told NBC10 Boston Monday that it is investigating Louis A. Vazquez, David A. Stewart and Curtis Carroll, all officers at the Roxbury headquarters.

"The officers have been placed on administrative leave pending an internal affairs investigation into payroll discrepancies," Sgt. John Boyle, a Boston Police spokesperson, said in a statement. "Since the investigation is ongoing and has not concluded, no decisions will be made until the internal affairs investigation is completed.

No further details about the allegations against the officers were available.

The Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said it was not involved in the investigation.
