Boston Police Seek 4 People in Connection With Violent South End Attack

Boston police detectives are asking the public's help in identifying four people connected to a violent assault in Boston's South End.

Police said they responded around 2:45 a.m. on Feb. 9 to a radio call for someone screaming for help around Harrison Avenue and Fay Street.

When they arrived, officers said they found a man lying on the ground with potentially fatal injuries. They said the man was semi-conscious as he was taken to a nearby hospital

Witnesses told officials that a group of three men assaulted the victim. They reportedly punched the man several times and then shoved him into the ground. Police searched the scene but were unable to find any suspects.

Boston police released black-and-white surveillance images of two males and two females Wednesday who they are seeking to identify in connection with their investigation.

Anyone with information regarding the incident or who recognizes people in the photos should call 617-343-9529 or submit a tip anonymously at 1-800-494-TIPS or by texting the word TIP to CRIME (27463).
