According to the real estate website Zumper, the median one-bedroom rent in Boston for May is $2,300 a month, and the two-bedroom median is $2,700. The national median is $1,185 for a one-bedroom and $1,422 for a two-bedroom. Yikes!
According to Rentcafe.com average rent (for all rentals) for South Boston is $3455. For Dorchester it’s $2687. Holy moly!
