Boyfriend Charged With Murder in Framingham Woman's Stabbing

Christopher McKoy of Brockton was taken into custody Monday night in Boston after taking off a GPS device from a separate case, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office

A man has been charged with murder for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend to death in Framingham, Massachusetts.

The killing happened Monday on Interfaith Terrace. Police conducting a wellness check found 27-year-old Jamee Ammons-Maddrey suffering from stab wounds in her home around 5:30 p.m.

Ammons-Maddrey was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim's boyfriend, 25-year-old Christopher McKoy of Brockton, was taken into custody Monday night in Boston after taking off a GPS device from a separate case, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office. He had allegedly been with Ammons-Maddrey the night before.

On Tuesday, authorities charged McKoy with murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

"It's very shocking. It's crazy," neighbor Richard Medina said after the stabbing. "It's the first time in years that you ever hear anything like this."

An arraignment date has not yet been set for McKoy. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.
