The Boston Bruins are just four wins away from playing for the Stanley Cup.
The B's punched their ticket to the Eastern Conference final Monday night by winning Game 6 of their second-round playoff series against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Boston's next opponent is the Carolina Hurricanes, who pulled off a pair of impressive upsets over the defending Stanley Cup champion Washington Capitals and the New York Islanders in the first two rounds.
This will be the third playoff series between these teams since the Hurricanes franchise left Hartford and moved to Carolina for the 1997-98 season. The Bruins defeated the Hurricanes 4-2 in the first round back in 1999, and the B's lost in seven games in the second round of the 2009 playoffs.
