Fire crews battled a three-alarm fire on Saturday in Lawrence, Massachusetts after receiving a call around 2 p.m. Two commercial business and several residences are now at a complete loss.
Strong wind did not give firefrights much time before it had the potential to burn down surrounding buildings. An added challenge to put out the blaze was a parked car in front of a hydrant.
The clean-up process is underway. A triple-decker building must be knocked down as it’s become a safety liability and emergency crews are unsure if it can stand on it’s own.
No one was injured in these fires. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
