Bullock Trip to New Hampshire Sparks More 2020 Speculation

Montana Gov. Steve Bullock is apparently testing the presidential waters in New Hampshire, the state that holds the first primary in the race for the White House.

Bullock, a popular two-term Democratic governor, is headlining fundraisers for state legislative candidates and helping the New Hampshire Democratic party kick off canvassing this weekend. But he's also meeting with a number of influential Democrats in multiple stops across the state.

Bullock tells the AP that when it comes to potential presidential aspirations, he's "listening quite a bit'' as he travels the country, adding "that, for now, is as far as it goes.''

He adds that he hasn't "set any timetables to do anything else.'' He's helping New Hampshire Democrats running for the state legislature in 2018 during a two-day swing.
