Bunker Hill Community College Stabbing Suspect to Face Judge

A Massachusetts man suspected of stabbing another man at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston's Charlestown neighborhood will face a judge on Thursday.

Jerry Pierre-Louis, 18, of Mattapan will be arraigned in Charlestown District Court on a charge of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

Police said officers were called to the campus' B-building at about 3:30 p.m. after a student was allegedly stabbed inside a hallway.

The victim was treated for minor injuries to his hand and later released, officials said.

Pierre-Louis fled the area but was arrested by Massachusetts State Police around 4:15 p.m.

Students on campus said they were shocked by the incident.

"It's kind of scary, considering everything that has been going on with all the school shootings," one student said. "I feel kind of nervous, I guess."

It's unclear what the motive was or if Pierre-Louis has an attorney.
