A shopper at the Burlington Mall asked the local police department for help finding her daughter’s stuffed rabbit.
The shopper says this toy is "extra special." Her husband was deployed after their daughter was born. The couple bought a big rabbit with their daughter’s name embroidered on the ear and a smaller bunny with "Daddy" stitched on the ear.
Her husband held onto the smaller rabbit during his first deployment. Now in his second deployment overseas, his rabbit watches over their daughter.
The rabbit was lost somewhere near the parking lot or inside the mall by the Legal Seafood entrance. It is a brown-gray bunny from the Jellycat collection.
Anyone with information on the missing rabbit is asked to contact the Burlington Police Department.
