Massachusetts State and local police are investigating after a woman was found Wednesday with an apparent gunshot wound while sitting in a parked vehicle in a Canton park.
Police said the woman was discovered at Farnham-Connolly State Park.
The woman, who has not been identified, was taken to a Boston hospital with serious injuries.
Police later said the woman's injuries were self-inflicted.
The incident remains under investigation.
