A Chicago-bound JetBlue flight had to return to Boston's Logan Airport Tuesday morning after a reported bird strike.
JetBlue officials said Flight 111 left Logan at about 7 a.m. but returned "out of an abundance of caution" following the reported bird strike.
The plane landed safely and passengers were put on another aircraft. That plane landed safely in Chicago just after 10 a.m., according to JetBlue officials.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration's Wildlife Strike Database, there have been 125 reports of bird strikes at Logan since Jan. 1, 2018.
