A child fell from a ski lift Monday afternoon in Canton, Massachusetts.
The victim, a 7-year-old boy from Rockland, fell about 35 feet from a lift at the Blue Hills Ski Area, fire officials said. Crews responded shortly before 4:30 p.m.

The boy suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said. A Boston MedFlight helicopter was called to the scene.
The child was taken to Boston Children's Hospital.
