A 12-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle after getting off a school bus Friday afternoon in Worcester, Massachusetts.
The crash happened at the 1300 block of Pleasant Street, according to police, who responded to a call shortly after 3:30 p.m.
"He got off the school bus and then he was hit by that vehicle that was passing the school bus," said the boy's uncle, Edward Desrosiers.
First responders rushed the boy to the hospital.

"He was in so much pain they had problems trying to get the neck brace on him," Desrosiers said.
While he was badly hurt, police do not believe his injuries to be life-threatening.
