Chilly With Some Light Rain Or Snow Showers

Our weekend features air coming in from Canada, at the same time a storm system is going to be intensifying well out in the ocean.

For most of us that means a chilly but bright Saturday with a high temperature in the 40s south, 30s north.

That ocean storm may clip Cape Cod in eastern Massachusetts with some rain or snow late Saturday night.

Sunday features another cold front from Canada that brings even colder air with a chance of a few snow showers during the afternoon.

If you're going skiing this weekend, especially Sunday, dress for wintry chill.

Highs Sunday will be in the 20s and 30s north, to low 40s south.

Monday starts off very cold, with close to record low temperatures in the single numbers and teens north, to low 20s south.

Sunshine on Monday will fade as warmer air tries to come back in, with high temperature in the lower 40s.

The next weather system arrives on Tuesday, with a mixture of rain and snow, likely changing to rain near the shore, but perhaps a significant snowfall in the hills of New England; it bears watching.

We are still somewhat optimistic temperature gets close to 60 with some actual April rain showers by late next week.
