Crews were cleaning up Wednesday in Cambridge, Massachusetts and other parts of the region after a powerful storm wreaked havoc overnight.
A large tree fell on Newton street, taking down wires, which in turn landed on cars and cause smoke. Residents in the area said a transformer exploded.

The fast-moving storms also knocked down trees on Antrim and Akron streets.
Police said no one was injured, but several dozen homes remained without power.
