CLOSE CALL: Video Shows Student Running Right Into Moving School Bus

Police said the student was not seriously injured

A student avoided serious injury when he ran right into a moving school bus as school was being dismissed at a Massachusetts high school on Tuesday.

The Auburn High School student was not injured when he ran in between school buses during dismissal and made contact with another bus that was moving, Auburn Police Chief Andrew Sluckis said.

Video of the incident shows the boy run between two buses parked by the curb, trailed by another student. A moving bus then enters the frame, and the first student hits the right front of the vehicle before falling to the ground.

The student can later be seen standing back up and walking away.

Police and fire responded to the school, but the student was not taken to the hospital.
