Cool Temperatures and Clouds Remain; Rain Chances High for Weekend

On this last day of April, we are looking back at a month which has been wet and warm. It was the 14th wettest April on record in Boston, the 4th wettest in Worcester, and the 2nd wettest on record in Harford. Harford exceeded 8 inches of rain during the month.

Things won’t get a whole lot drier across the area anytime soon.

The weather remains cool and cloudy through Friday. Temperatures Thursday will likely stay in the upper 40s – it will likely be the chilliest day of the stretch.

Rain chances will remain high through the weekend. It won’t rain every second of every day and we will see some sunshine in the mix from time to time. Through Sunday evening, the area will likely receive an additional half inch to inch of rain.

The weekend and beyond is looking warmer. High temperatures should recover back to the 60s by Saturday and stay there through the remainder of the 10-day.

Rain chances are abundant through the next week. Again, it’s still too early to discuss timing or additional amounts.
