New England

Cooler But Clear on Sunday

The showers this weekend will move through overnight and Sunday will be another fantastic day.

Temperatures will be 10-15° cooler, but the sun will be shining and it will feel much more like fall. A cold front that will be south of New England by Sunday morning will stalled out through Monday afternoon. Eventually that front will move back through as a warm front. Monday will be cooler than Sunday. High temperatures will stay in the 60s.

Another warm-up is expected Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures will reach the 70s by Tuesday and 80s by Wednesday. Record warmth will be close by – high temperatures may reach the low 90s as close as New York City!

We’ll be watching another cold front Wednesday night. This front will be significantly stronger than the one moving through Sunday morning. Currently, that storm system is delivering FEET of snow to parts of Montana.

Unsettled weather will linger through Friday. Temperatures will turn drastically cooler. High temperatures will only reach the upper 50s next weekend and the fall feel will last in the following week.

As far as leaf peeping, we are nearing peak conditions in northern New England. Enjoy!
