Green Line Boston: Craft Cannabis Coming Our Way

According to Universal Hub, on Tuesday, the City of Boston Zoning Board of Appeals approved a proposal to grow “craft marijuana” in a 20,000 square foot, three-story building in the Newmarket Square area.  The pot grown will be used both recreationally and medicinally.

If the Cannabis Control Commission approves the plan, Green Line Boston will be the first indoor-grow facility in Boston.  This new facility will be built on lot at 100-114 Hampden Street – owned by the Signore family of Brookline Coal and Ice fame. Mario Signore Jr., great grandson of the founder of Brookline Coal and Ice, is proposing the plan for locally grown cannabis business.

According to an article written back in August by Jon Chesto in the Boston Globe, Signore – wants to be the “Sam Adams of cannabis.”

Craft beer, craft cocktails, now craft cannabis!
