Officials: 5 People, 2 Dogs Safe After Escaping House Fire

Five people and two dogs are safe after escaping an early morning house fire in Revere, according to officials.

Revere fire officials said the fire broke out at a two and a half story home on Central Avenue just before 4:30 a.m. Monday.

When the NBC10 Boston crew arrived at the scene, flames could be seen shooting from the roof in the back corner of the building.

The heavy fire has since been knocked down.

The owner of the building, who doesn't live there, previously told NBC10 Boston all of his tenants made it out safely.

The exact cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
