Crews Rescue Person From Water in Boston

A person was pulled from the water by rescue crews Tuesday night in Boston, according to fire officials.

Boston Fire confirmed around 11:15 p.m. that its marine unit was near the John F. Kennedy Library at Columbia Point, where a person was reported to be in the water. A dive team was activated.

Just over five minutes later, the department tweeted that a semi-conscious female had been rescued. She was taken to a hospital by Boston EMS.

Boston Police, UMass Boston Police and Massachusetts State Police are investigating, according to Boston Fire.
