Dozens of cyclists lined Charles Street in Boston Tuesday morning as they demanded a safer downtown for bicycles.

Around 100 cyclists lined to to form a sort of human bike lane, as a way to advocate for progress in the Downtown Bike Network.

The event was organized by the Boston Cyclists Union. It kicked off at 8 a.m. at Boston Common, before the crowd headed to Charles Street to form the "people-protected bike lane" until 9 a.m.
