Dig Inn May Be Coming to Boston's Fort Point Neighborhood

It looks like a New York City-based group of  "farm-to-counter" restaurants could be opening a fourth location in Boston.

According to a Twitter post from @danpflock, Dig Inn is apparently looking to open in Fort Point, with the tweet showing an alteration permit that mentions the eatery is seeking to open in a vacant commercial space on Thomson Place. If it does get approval to open there, the new location of Dig Inn would join others at the Pru, on Washington Street in Downtown Crossing and on Boylston Street across from Copley Square.

Dig Inn, which first started out in 2011, offers locally-sourced healthy food options including "market bowls" that have a grain or salad base with items such as chicken, beef, and salmon.

An exact address is not yet known for the proposed location of Dig Inn at Fort Point, but the permit notice does show an address of 19-39 Thomson Place. (The website for Dig Inn is at https://www.diginn.com/)
