One of the suspects also allegedly tried to punch the female victim's 19-year-old son.
The married couple was treated for injuries at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital.
Sprague was charged with a felony count of riot, a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief and two misdemeanor counts of simple assault.
