Dudley, Mass. Police Searching for Men in Gas Station Armed Robbery

The two robbers stole an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, according to police

Police in Massachusetts are searching for two men who robbed a gas station at gunpoint Tuesday night.

Dudley police said officers responded to the robbery at 10:50 p.m. at the Patriot Gas convenience store on West Main Street. There, they learned two men entered the store with one of them brandishing a silver handgun.

The robbers stole an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes then fled east on foot. Police said the pair are believed to have left the area in an unknown vehicle that could be a pickup truck.

The armed robber is described as having a tall and skinny build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, black pants and what police said were black "Croc-style" shoes.

The second thief is described was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black sandals and black gloves.

No injuries were reported in the robbery. The investigation is ongoing.
