One man is dead after a triple shooting in Roxbury, according to a Boston police statement.
Police were called to the area of 81 Westminster Avenue in Roxbury Saturday morning around 3:45 a.m. after a shooting, officials said.
When police arrived, two men were suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services were called to the scene. Both victims were brought to a local hospital, according to a release from Boston police. One man suffered non-life threatening injuries while the other was pronounced dead.
Not long after, police found a woman who had been shot in the area of 146 Ruthven Street
Police were still on the scene as of 5:30 a.m.
"The preliminary investigation indicates that this third victim sustained her injuries at the scene on Westminister Avenue," the statement said.
