In-depth news coverage of the Greater Boston Area.
The Taste of South Boston is the annual fundraiser for the South Boston NDC, a non-profit developer of affordable housing in the community. This year, South Boston NDC will complete 16 units of workforce housing at 206 West Broadway. Additionally, construction has begun at O’Connor Way for 46 apartments for low-income seniors.
Proceeds from this evening’s event will support the South Boston NDC’s mission to provide affordable housing for working people, families, elderly, and veterans in the community. South Boston NDC also manages the South Boston Farmers Market, Southie Trees, and several high profile community events, including the South Boston Street Festival, the South Boston Christmas Stroll, and the South Boston Spring Stroll. Support of this event will help SBNDC to continue to provide affordable housing and economic opportunities in the neighborhood.
