Former Patriots QB Arrested for DWI After Crashing Car

Ryan Mallett was arrested on Tuesday for driving while intoxicated, according to TMZ Sports.

The former Patriots backup quarterback reportedly was involved in a two-car collision in Springdale, Arkansas around 6:30 p.m. When cops tested Mallett's blood alcohol level, he registered a .08, which is the legal limit.

The 31-year-old also was charged with careless prohibited driving for crossing over the center line.

Mallett, a former QB with the Pats, Texans, and Ravens, recently accepted an invitation to the XFL Draft being held in October.
