Commuters who travel through Newton are advised to take alternate routes after a fallen tree shut down a local street.
Nahanton Street is closed for "a few hours," according to Newton police due to the fallen tree. The street is closed from Winchester Street to the Needham line at Kendrick Street.
Heavy traffic delays are to be expected.
