Famous Mass. Psychiatrist Keith Ablow Denies Allegations in Ex-Patient's Suit

The negligence suit alleges that Dr. Keith Ablow sent a former patient emails and texts "during all hours of the day and night"

A renowned Massachusetts psychiatrist who has appeared on several television shows is facing a lawsuit by a former patient who says they engaged in "physical sexual contact."

The negligence suit, filed in Newburyport Superior Court, alleges that Dr. Keith Ablow sent the woman emails and texts "during all hours of the day and night," made comments about her appearance, encouraged sexual conversations during treatment sessions and "rewarded" her with free sessions.

The woman is seeking at least $5 million in damages.

Ablow told The Salem News Monday that "I categorically deny each and every allegation."

Ablow says the woman was the subject of a no-trespassing order two years ago, was ordered to stop harassing him, and he sent her bills to collection for non-payment.

Ablow lives and practices in Newburyport.
