Police are investigating a fatal, rollover crash involving a pickup truck Tuesday morning in Saugus, Massachusetts.
Police and firefighters responded to the crash at 407 Main St. at about 11 a.m. where a 47-year-old Tewksbury man was trapped inside a Ram pickup truck.
Crews used hydraulic tools to extricate the man from the vehicle.
Authorities say the driver lost control while driving on Main Street, taking out a tree and slamming into an SUV parked in a driveway before flipping over.
Cheryl McGrath said minutes before the truck crashed in her driveway, she had been standing there in front of her home.
"I had just gotten home and I'm sitting on the couch and I heard this bang, my dogs were barking, I didn't know what it was," said McGrath. "I came outside and I saw a truck tipped over in my yard."
The man, who has not been identified, was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

"It's just a tragedy all around, I just feel bad for the family," said McGrath.
The parked SUV belonged to McGrath's husband. He passed away a couple months ago, and if it hadn't been for his vehicle, the scene could have been even worse.
"The officer said if my truck wasn't there, he would have went right through the house," McGrath said. "Someone was watching over us. My husband."
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
