Firefighters responded to a large fire at a building Monday evening in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The fire broke out just before 6 p.m. on Walnut Street. Firefighters say everyone was out before they arrived, but that one man was hospitalized with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Heavy flames could be seen shooting out of the home as thick, black smoke billowed into the air.
Neighbors say they heard loud booms.

Investigators believe the fire started on the back porches of the two-family home.
The cause remains under investigation.
