Retail giant Target is expanding to Cape Cod this fall.
The store, which will be the first on the Cape and the 47th in Massachusetts, is set to open its doors in the Cape Cod Mall on Oct. 20.
Simon Property Group, which owns the mall, announced the plans for the new 80,000-square-foot store on its website.
The store will be a "small-format" location, featuring home decor, seasonal items, beach and vacation essentials, kids products and a Starbucks.
Target is also looking to hire about 150 employees for its new location. It will be hosting hiring events Sept. 9-11 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Cape Cod Mall. Anyone interested in applying is encouraged to do so here.
