A woman was killed Thursday night after being struck by a vehicle in Framingham, Massachusetts.
Police said the 70-year-old was crossing Route 9 east after, coming from a Starbucks, when the vehicle hit her.
A nurse who had been passing by rushed over to help the woman and police performed CPR until first responders arrived.
The woman, who was not identified, was taken to a local hospital, where police said she later died.
The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
