How Red Sox Fans Can Get a Free LA Taco at Faneuil Hall

Mookie Betts isn't the only reason Red Sox fans can score a free taco. Faneuil Hall's bet with a Los Angeles food hall scored fans a complimentary treat

Boston Red Sox fans are continuing to celebrate their team’s World Series win, and this time, they can do so with free tacos straight from Los Angeles.

Faneuil Hall Marketplace made a World Series wager with L.A. food hall Grand Central Market. Because the Sox defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers, fans can enjoy authentic carne asada tacos on Friday from Grand Central Market's restaurant, Tacos Tumbras à Tomas.

The restaurant’s owner and chef, Tomas Martinez, will be flown to Boston with his crew for the occasion.

In addition to the tacos, both food halls upheld their promise to donate to local charities.

Because the Red Sox hit eight home runs during the World Series, Faneuil Hall will donate $8,000 to Pitching In for Kids. Grand Central Market will donate $6,000 to Team Rubicon since the Dodgers hit six home runs.

The free tacos will be available to fans from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at MIJA Cantina & Tequila Bar while supplies last. Those interested in claiming a taco are asked to wear Red Sox gear.
