All Eyes on Possible Storm That Could Bring Snow to New England

A frosty start to our Sunday gave way to a gorgeous afternoon with lots of sun and temperatures in the upper 40s north, to the mid 50s south.

This week will bring changes to our weather pattern and this is how it goes:

Monday will begin with a clear sky, but clouds will increase in the afternoon. Highs will rise to around 50. A slight chance for a spot shower is possible at night as a warm front cross the region.

A brief warm up is in store Tuesday, highs will be in the 50s to around 60, but we also see more clouds and rain showers. A cold front then sweeps through at night, so Wednesday will be cooler with temperatures in the 40s to around 50 and it will also be breezy at times.

A weak disturbance will bring another round of light snow across Northern New England Wednesday night into Thursday, but then all eyes are on a possible storm moving in from the Mid-Atlantic that could bring the first snowflakes to cities in Southern New England. Right now, this system is staying to our south, but the track could change as it evolves and gets closer so make sure to stay tuned for the latest information.

For now, it is certain that cold air will filter in from Canada on Thursday night with highs on Friday barely making it to 40, and the wind chills in the 20s.
